Yes, I rode a bike....for miles...and miles...lol...12.4 km and back actually! I was proud of myself for doing it and ecstatic the next day when I was able to walk! lol!
After our tour of the Palace Hotel we walked around town for a few blocks then went to one of the bike vendors. We rode the bikes along the Corniche beach area. It is breathtaking! Judith, Bebhinn,Pascal, Ana, Tim, Sheena, and Crissy were a blast to ride with. We wanted to ride all the way to the fish market but we had no place to leave bikes there...Ok, ok THEY wanted....lol...I was ready to turn around when we did...I think I might have even STRONGLY suggested it....

We had a blast. We rode til the old lady (me) was tired. We rode half the way back and stopped for lunch. We had to return the bikes to the vendor we got them from. It was very cheap- $30 USD for 3 hours. I love this group of people and miss them dearly now that they have been moved to their regions.
