After 13 months of waiting, 15 months since the interview, I finally got my plane ticket to go! I am so excited I can't think!
I fly out Monday morning. It is a 17 hour flight. However, due to the difference in time zones, I will arrive in Abu Dhabi at 7:30 Tuesday night, which is around 9 am Okie time. So I lose a day in a way.
So excited! I had almost given up on going. Seems like it was never going to happen. I have prayed and prayed over this. Tony and I have struggled financially to make it through the last 7 months without my income. We knew God would provide but it still was stressful. I am thankful for my wonderful hubby who has been so supportive! He just kept reminding me, "They can't eat us!" What a guy!
I will miss him dreadfully- and my family! But what an adventure awaits me! I know it will be different but I am really ready for this. I have lived vicariously through my friends who are already there. Now I will get to live it first hand!
Can't wait to personally meet all those who have been so supportive of me that are already there. I feel like we are long time friends although we have only visited online!
